Day 1 — Marrakech → Imlil (1,740 m) → Tacheddirt (2,300 m)

· Morning transfer from your hotel/riad in Marrakech (about 1h30)
In Imlil, meet your guide, muleteers, and cook — your team for the journey

· Begin the walk to Tizi n’Tamatert (2,300 m) for panoramic views of the Imlil and Imnan valleys

· Descend to the peaceful village of Tacheddirt
Overnight in a simple guesthouse

Walking time: 4–5 hours

Day 2 — Tacheddirt → Tizi n’Likemt (3,550 m) → Azib Likemt (2,500 m)

· A long but rewarding ascent brings you to Tizi n’Likemt, one of the highest passes in the Atlas

· At the top: vast, wild views of jagged peaks and remote valleys.

· Descend to Azib Likemt (2,500 m) for the night in camp.

Walking time: 6–7 hours

Day 3 — Azib Likemt → Tizi n’Ourai (3,120 m) → Amsouzert (1,740 m)

· Walk through a wild valley before climbing to Tizi n’Ourai (3,120 m)

· The descent brings you into the green Aourai valley, following shepherd paths and small streams.Arrive in Amsouzert, one of the region’s largest Amazigh villages

Overnight in a guesthouse

Walking time: 6–7 hours

Day 4 — Amsouzert → Ifni Lake (2,300 m)

· Reach the emerald waters of Lake Ifni, an isolated high-altitude lake tucked in a dramatic cirque.

· Afternoon at leisure — swimming in summer, wandering along the shoreline, or simply resting in the silence of the mountains.

Overnight camping by the lake.

Walking time: 4 hours.

Day 5 — Ifni Lake → Tizi n’Ouanoums (3,670 m) → Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m)

· This is the toughest day — but also one of the most spectacular.

· A steep ascent leads to Tizi n’Ouanoums (3,670 m),
From here, descend in long zigzags to the Toubkal Refuge, base camp for the summit.

Walking time: 6–7 hours.

Day 6 — Refuge → Toubkal Summit (4,167 m) → Imlil → Marrakech

· Early start (around 4–5am) for the summit push.After 3–4 hours, reach the top of North Africa’s highest mountain.
From the summit, the views stretch across the Sahara, the Anti-Atlas, and the entire High Atlas chain — a moment you won’t forget.

· Descend to the refuge, then continue all the way down to Imlil.

· Your driver will take you back to Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Walking time: 9–10 hours.
